If you are thinking that the processor is not Snapdragon 800 series then you should know that this is the same processor which is used in the Blackberry Keyone. With this processor, you will get far better battery backup than other devices. This device will easily run for 24 hours with this battery saving processor.

Also, with the 4GB ram and Adreno 506 GPU, we don’t think that there will be any problem in day to day tasks including moderate gaming.

With its dual camera setup, it will heat-up the competition in this price segment because there are limited dual camera phones in this price segment. We believe that this phone will be a worthy successor to its previous successful model Moto G5.

redmi note 4 specs

In the price segment of 15-16K, its main competitor is the Redmi Note 4 which comes with almost similar specs – 4GB Ram, 5.5″ Full HD Display, Snapdragon 625 and a whopping 4100 mAh battery at 12,999 on Flipkart.

But, with Redmi Note 4, you will NOT get the following:

  • Cornering Gorilla Glass
  • Water Repellant Nano-Coating
  • Dual Cameras with front flash
  • Fast Charging
  • Stock Android 7.1

So, is it worth buying this phone? In this price range, we would say that YES, it is worth buying because it checks most of the essential hardware requirements. Plus, it is a brand worth relying on. Earlier we have seen devices from Motorola which either lags good processor or impressive battery backup. This time, they are able to balance both the requirements in the Motorola G5S Plus.
